Toilet Sand for Pets
Summary of uses
Toilet sand for pets can be classified roughly by the principal material into three types: mineral-based type (made mainly of bentonite), paper-based type (made mainly of a highly absorbent resin, sawdust, soy pulp, or other organic raw materials), and hybrid-type made of minerals and paper.

With its strong water-absorption effect, deodorizing effect, and caking property, which allows the clay to aggregate after absorbing water, bentonite immediately absorbs urine of pets and firmly solidifies it, allowing easy disposal of their excrement.
Characteristics of different types of toilet sand for pets (pellet, crushed, and granular types)
Pellet type
Larger pellets are not easily caught in pads of cats.
Scattering of sand and stirring up of dust can be reduced significantly.
Crushed type
Cat litter excellent in odor-eliminating effect, ease of solidification and cost effectiveness.
Granular type
Granular cat litter that is closest to natural sand and solidifies into small lumps.
This type is recommended for toilet training for cats or for toilet sand for hamsters.

Manufacturing process (for pellet type)
Addition of water to raw materials and mixing
Mix bentonite and water in a mixer in preparation for granulation.
Granulation
Make granules shaped appropriately for toilet sand by using a granulating machine.
Because of the nature of bentonite, it can be granulated just by impregnating it with water.
Drying
Dry the product.

Classification
Sieve the product. Longer granules are cut and sieved again, and shorter granules are used as a raw material again.
Storing in a silo
The finished product is stored in a silo.
About 1,500 tons of toilet sand for pets can be stored in our silos in total.
Inner bag packaging
Weigh out the product and put in inner bags.
Check inner bags filled with the product for foreign materials by using a metal detector.
Outer bag packaging
Put two or four inner bags in an outer bag so that they can be palletized, and then palletize them.
Check outer bags for foreign materials by using a metal detector again before palletizing them.
